First Day in NY!!!

March 20, 2016

As I promised myself that I would. I wanted to start to journal about my travel adventures as they come.

Today has been a long day. I'm sure it won't be the last of them for this week. I'm running on about a hour and 30 minutes of sleep. First hour before I had to get ready for my flight and the half hour I could manage on the plane with my ear popping.

I'm staying at the POD hotel, in NY for the first night and the inside is so arty, I love it! The area it's placed in is super cute as well. I was a little nervous about being in a new city, but something about it felt like home the second I got out of my hour long Uber (yes, an hour, it was rough)

Our room in the hotel, had me cracking up for a good ten minutes. It's the teeniest room I've ever inhabited! I couldn't wrap my mind around it and I lost it when I realized the bathroom was down the hall!

It's really adorable though and I'm in a bunk for the first time since I was a kid! Today was just a lot of travelling and planning, and schedules. I've gotten to the point in my life where I'm being to transition from being overlooked to overbook, which has it's pros and cons! The cons  can be easily fixed at the help of getting a manager, which is definitely going to be the first thing I do when I go back to Chicago!

I'll add the pics of the POD and such to my next post tomorrow! Can't wait! Until then!
